Linear park and reforestation

 Aaaah, a breath of fresh air! The fragrant scent of Mediterranean greenery and trees paired with sea air is one of the most distinctive sensory experiences at Zaton Holiday Resort. In order to manage the forest area damaged by a storm in 2019, the resort has started the project of reforestation and creation of a linear park. Bearing in mind natural processes, planting of native trees and plants proceeds in accordance with the understanding that ‘it takes time to grow’. 

Still, it does not take time for guests to be able to enjoy the new developments! The new linear park stretches from the Saturnus disco towards the park at the campsite entrance. The walking path is far more than a lovely route to stretch the legs - it is the area to play, rest and spend time in good company. Along the path, the stone walls built with traditional materials with wooden seats and benches invite the guests to take a moment to relax, discover the fascinating story of the forest and simply take in the beauty all around. 

The linear park also includes the cycle center where guests can rent bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters and segways.

Mareta Beach Restaurant & Bar

Delicious dining with a view of the sea! Situated in the western part of the beach by the campsite, the fully refurbished Beach Restaurant & Bar Mareta invites you to take a break from the joys of the beach and grab a bite to eat right there. The renovation was inspired by the Roman Villa Rustica, the foundations of which can be found just a few steps from the restaurant. After all, the resort lies in a place where the antique port of Aenona (today’s Nin) once stood. Perfectly blended in the beach surroundings with large open space, Mareta welcomes you to excellent food prepared with fresh, seasonal and local ingredients fusing traditional and modern cuisine.

Zatonino Kids Club 

Welcome to the new world  of Zatonino! Zaton Holiday Resort’s very own fluffy seahorse mascot invites your children to his Club, which has had a complete makeover with exciting new didactic toys, equipment and furniture. Your children get to do exercise (‘mini gym’), ‘be creative’, learn with fun (‘Zatonino school’) and play ‘It’s time for…’ in the morning, then do sports, arts & crafts and have ‘adventure time’ in the afternoon, followed by a dance at the mini disco in the evening. That’s not all - Zatonino brings them along on his many journeys of imagination, be it to go around the world, become a pirate, enter Water Wonderland, choose between Hollywood or the Circus, meet the Superheroes of Zaton and more!
