World Camping Festival at Zaton Holiday Resort

Zaton Holiday Resort hosts the festival and thus becomes the centre of the camping world from June 23 to July 1 2023.   • Our second stay

     

    As the title suggests, this was our second visit to "Zaton Holiday Resort". This time we have stayed for 2 weeks and it was fabulous. Above all, one always has the choice between a day at the beach or other activities. A bicycle for exploring around the property is highly recommended. Also about 10 km distant city of Zadar is highly recommended, even at night.

  • Wonderful!!!

     

    Had a lovely time. The resort was really spread out and great. Stayed in one of the mobile homes located at the far end of the site. Some people have commented negatively because of this, but we found it perfect, because it was away from any noise and very quiet, just what we wanted! The beach was lovely, the shops and restaurants were also very good. Did not use the swimming pool, but that looked nice. All in all, we had a lovely time. Perfectly placed to visit Zadar and Nin, but you do need a car. Thoroughly recommended!

  • Henceforward our favorite place :-)

    It was our third time here and a perfect stay again. EVERYTHING was perfect. Our (new) apartment was big, comfortable and really beautiful. Playgrounds far and near which is very important for us because of two little sons with all day energy :-) Super swimming pool when the sea is not warm enough or if you don't want the sand get into everywhere... :-) fresh baked croissant and hot chocolate and so more delicacy for breakfast... I love this place because it is beautiful in every detail: the colourful flowers everywhere, the lovely apartments outside and inside, the promenade next to the sea, the lights in the evening near the reception an so on.. In my opinion this is a resort that wants to raise its standard every year and it always succeeds in doing it :-) Thank you again for the big surprise to us as returning guests it was an unexampled kindness! (If you find my black cardigan please put it away till next year! thanks :-))

  • It keeps getting better and better!

     

    This was our 6th visit and we are always surprised with the new ideas and investments they have put into making a holiday here as enjoyable as possible. Love the beach and the new playground with climbing nets. The attention to detail with the landscaping has really turned out well and the new reception is super! We just loved all the glass which enables you to see all the trees and greenery in that area. The facilities for children are great, as well as the opportunity to ride horses, play tennis, archery and of course rental point for bikes. You just absolutely cannot miss spending your holiday here! We love it :-)

  • Fantastic campsite!

     

    We spent 7 days camping at the Resort and it was so much fun! Very clean sanitary facilities, playgrounds, pool area, beach bars, supermarket, veggie and fruits stand, restaurants, stores, sand beach! Beach was 5 minutes walking distance from our camping pitch. My children loved playing in the sand. Warm and shallow water. We loved everything! We will try to come back next summer!
