7 Reasons to Go Camping (or Glamping) in Dalmatia
Too soon to think about a summer holiday? Not really, because if the planning starts already in spring, the following months will be filled with optimistic expectations and preparations. So, what kind of a holiday should you go for this summer? If you are a fan of camping, why not try glamping? If you’ve never spent time in a campsite, why not give it a try this year. Here’s a list of reasons why go on a camping or glamping holiday in Dalmatia:
1. The place to see, be and do
In the past few years Dalmatia has regularly topped lists of must-see places to visit and it’s there to stay. Apart from amazing nature and rich cultural-historical heritage, there are continually more things to do and explore. And that’s also the reason to keep coming back.
2. Back to nature
After months spent indoors, a summer holiday out in nature not only allows you to strip off suits, outfits, high heels and ties, and slip into something much more comfortable, but also to leave day-to-day stress behind. It’s the time to reconnect with nature, and what better way than to go camping (or glamping)?
3. Say ‘no’ to technology…
Or not - it’s rather difficult to imagine a holiday without any technology whatsoever. After all, everyone wants to take photos or record videos so that it’s easier to keep the memories of amazing holiday moments. Choosing a camping holiday means spending a lot of time outdoors. While sitting relaxed in the shade with the refreshing fragrance of pine trees in the air is perfectly fine, why not go a step further and explore nature. So, rent a kayak and paddle along the coast, hop on a bike and see where it takes you, take a morning riding tour along the shore, discover the underwater world by diving or go parasailing to get a different perspective of the village you’re in.
6. Have some quality time
Go on a holiday with people you love and remember why that is so. Do things together as a family or a group of friends, have a laugh, explore nature or cook a meal together. After all, the best holiday moments are the ones you share directly with your favourite people and not only online.
7. Meet new people
Campgrounds are places full of nature-loving and relaxed people open to new friendships. Campers need to share available facilities with other guests in any case, which is basically a great opportunity to meet new people.
