Feel the thrill of discovering the story behind villages and small towns such as Pag, Benkovac or Novigrad, as well as unique sights such as medieval Maškovića han from the 17th century.

 

Put on your walking shoes to climb up the mountain, as well! Namely, Paklenica National Park has numerous trails leading through breathtaking landscapes and towards spectacular views. Or pick among the elaborate paths and trails along the coast, on the islands and in the hinterland, and appreciate the well-preserved nature in the region.

 

Cycling

Ride a bike along the trails for a special experience of the region! Setting off from Zaton Holiday Resort, you can follow the coastline northwards toward Privlaka, southwards towards Petrčane, or head to the east to Vrsi, to get the feel of small coastal villages. The Zadar hinterland is also a popular cycling destination, as you can explore the olive groves and vineyards, especially in Nadin and Benkovac.

Explore the irresistible flavors of Dalmatian cuisine! Nibble on Pag island cheese and Nin šokol delicacy, try mussels and beautifully made seafood dishes, not to mention specialties prepared with high-quality meat, particularly lamb.
