Beach Restaurant & Bar Mareta offers a rich menu to choose from and one of its top specialty is John Dory fish fillet with pistachio and carrot cream. Taken with a glass of Pošip wine, you are in for a heavenly meal and a unique gastronomic experience. Pošip is also a regional product, made by the local wine producer Kraljevski vinogradi (Cro. Royal Vineyards) in the nearby village of Petrčane.

Mareta’s story…
...Is also a story of respect for what once was. Situated on the western side of the beach near the campsite, the restaurant was recently renovated paying tribute to the history of the location. After all, the resort is set near the place where the port of Nin, historically known as Aenona, used to stand so many centuries, even millennia, ago. In fact, the remains of the Roman villa rustica (Lat. countryside estate) can be seen not far from the restaurant and they were a source of inspiration in the renovation process.
