Blue Knights in Zaton!
Children lose track of time absorbed in exploring the playgrounds, climbing the nets or splashing water in the swimming pool or at the beach. Knights in shiny blue
Who are the Blue Knights? They are members of an international law enforcement motorcycle club who are either still active or retired law enforcement officers and who happen to share the passion for motorbikes. What started as a gathering of motorbike enthusiasts to form a local club almost half a century ago in the USA, has in the meantime spread to 30 countries and now has more than 19.000 members. But apart from their love of speed and outdoors, Blue Knights are also great humanitarians, thus reflecting the chivalry their name suggests.
Convention in Zaton
Every year the Blue Knights meet once in Europe for their annual convention, and this year Croatia, or more precisely, Zaton Holiday Resort is hosting round 900 bikers from all over Europe and the USA. So, from May 26 - May 29 the bikers will wrap Zaton and Zadar region in blue, since hundreds of them are going to ride to Krka National Park and Zadar to do some sightseeing. But Blue Knights aren’t coming just to enjoy the sea and the sights in Zadar region, they also plan to do some good deeds. They are going to participate in a charity ride to help raise funds for a primary school for children with disabilities as well as donate valuable equipment for three blind primary school pupils.

… in Zaton. A place close to cultural and natural attractions. A place with the best beach, the scent of the pine trees and clear blue water. A place where the peace and silence that will be temporarily broken by the vroom sound of the motorbikes. Indeed, the vroom vroom of the Blue Knights will bring excitement and adventure to Zaton and also joy to those who are less fortunate. So, blue is definitely a great colour, a colour of the clear sky above and translucent sea water in Zaton. Blue is the colour of the Knights who are coming to ride, see and share.
